Newton Stewart is an attractive small town nestled on the banks of
the River Cree and at the foot of the Galloway Hills in Dumfries and Galloway, South-west Scotland.
The town itself
is known as the Gateway to the Galloway Hills and the Galloway Forest Park is the only official dark skies park outside North
America, perfect for star-gazing, and also boasts one of the most challenging mountain bike trails in the world.

due to very low population density.
Wildlife abounds and the area with deer, red kites, buzzards, sparrow hawk
and osprey to be seen. The area also has some of Britain's finest fishing rivers.
